- Explore the three areas of communication through interactive activates - body language, voice, words
- Learn the everyone communicates differently and by understanding this we can connect better with ourselves and others.
- Introduce the concept of personal leadership and it's importance in mental wellbeing.
- A brief introduction to what is going on in your mind during times of stress and anxiety
- Work through the simple stress and anxiety management tool box
Objectives
- A good understanding of what emotional intelligence is, why it is important and how to start increasing it.
- Understanding and experience of different communication styles, how to build rapport and how to communicate more effectively through being more aware of others communication styles.
- A framework to start developing your personal leadership for better mental wellbeing
- A better understanding of the workings of stress and anxiety
- A tool box of strategies to better manage periods of stress and anxiety.
