For: Dentists,
Minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry should not compromise the remaining dentition any more than is absolutely necessary to secure pleasing form, colour and alignment, whilst providing long term stability and function. Historically, many smile enhancement treatments were considered to be aggressive due to limitations in materials, equipment and technology. In recent years, significant developments in whitening protocols, composite and ceramic materials, adhesive dentistry and accessible orthodontics have allowed more dental professionals to provide minimally invasive treatments that are highly aesthetic, considerate to pulp health and provide respectable lengths of service.
