Aims

• Understand what neurodiversity is.
• Recognise what adjustments may be required when treating patients with a learning disability knowledge of the Equality Act 2010.

Objectives

• Feel confident to make reasonable adjustments.
• Have an understanding of what the CQC will expect from a practice in relation to patients with learning disabilities.
• How to use basic language to help with understanding and independance.

Having been in the world of dentistry for over 30 years, working my way up from a trainee nurse at the age of 16 to operations Mananger, working in general Practice throughout the pandemic, I know from experince what practices face on a daily basis. As your Practice Support Consultant I am here to offer you and your team support, with Compliance, Regulations, Inspections and Training, At DD we have a weath of experince and knowledge to make your journey as stress free as possible.
