- Session 1
- Understand what a complaint is
- Understand the regulations surrounding complaints
- Understand why a patient might complain
- Have the ability to use body language and behavior to help diffuse a complaint situation
- Be able to adopt correct complaint procedure methods
- Understand the importance of investigations and outcomes of complaints
- Session 2
- By the end of the course delegates will have a better understanding of :-
- • Registration with the GDC requirements and retainment
- • The importance of having Indemnity Insurance
- • How they can develop their individual careers
- • Career Paths
- • How by gaining extra qualifications how it
- will improve / develop their skills

- DCP's will have a better understand of their role and responsibilities when it comes to preventing and handling complaints.
